How to measure your card
1Recommended (the app would still work without this): Print a mat below at actual size or larger if it makes sense for your card size or to fit them easier on the page
2Place your card face-up on the mat
3Photograph it — all four corner markers must be visible
4Upload and analyze
The software automatically corrects for camera angle, tilt, and perspective — no need to shoot perfectly straight overhead.
Due to the wide variety of card styles, borders, and finishes, automatic detection may not always be perfect. Manual adjustment using the draggable line controls is recommended for a final check before generating the report.
●Dark mat — recommended for most cards. The high contrast between the dark background and white or light card borders lets the software detect both the card edge and artwork edge independently for the most accurate measurement.
●White mat — use for dark-bordered cards (e.g. black-border Magic: The Gathering). Dark borders blend into the dark mat and are better measured against a light background.
PDF recommended — print at 100% / Actual Size, never "fit to page". Mat is A4 (210 × 297 mm). Place your card anywhere in the large center area — the dotted cross marks the center.
📒 Verify your print scale: the mat includes a 50 mm scale bar at the bottom. Measure it after printing. If it reads less than 50 mm, your printer is silently scaling down — increase the print scale by 50 ÷ measured mm × 100% (e.g. 48 mm → print at 104%). Each ArUco marker should also be exactly 25 × 25 mm.
